AICHO to Host Community Cellphone Photography Exhibition! Free and open to the community! See 100 photos!

Join us on THIS Friday, July 13 at 7 pm for the 2nd installment of AICHO’s “Let’s See What You See” Cellphone Photography “Community” Showcase/Reception/Awards Ceremony! The exhibit includes 100 images reflecting the theme of climate change and environment/cultural resiliency will be on display in the Dr. Robert Powless Cultural Center.

At the exhibit opening, we will be announcing the 1st through 3rd place winners to receive their cash prize (1st – $200, 2nd – $100, 3rd – $50). This year, our panel of jurists includes photographers Ivy VainioVern Northrup, and Clint Austin who juried the show with no identifying information associated with the photos. The People’s Choice Award will be decided on the evening of July 13th and voted on by guests in attendance. We will also include an award for the Enterprise Community Partners Honorable Mention photo this year!

There is ample parking on the streets surrounding our building and both Lake Superior College parking lots will be open.

Don’t forget to spread the word with your friends and family!

The exhibit will remain on display in our galleries until August 3rd.

This FREE and open to the community activity is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, thanks to appropriations from the Minnesota State Legislature’s general and arts and cultural heritage funds.
